Skull Bracelets

So I've been looking into making and selling bracelets for sometime now. I have bought a lot of small, cute beads from eBay and until today hadn't translated them into my design ideas (mainly because I thought threads I had purchased were not suitable).
Today I finally made a bracelet, it's so simple but I absolutely love it.

The reason I love it is because it is so wearable, even though it isn't the boldest piece of jewellery I think the skull bead makes it an understated statement. But most of all I love it because you can wear it with other bracelets and join in with the 'stack them high'.

I've got different colour skull beads too, what do people think? Shall I make some to sell?

Car Troubles

I've been meaning to check my tyres on my car for like a week now and as I had a day off I decided to do it today, obviously with my Dads help. I merrily was checking them and all of them were super low and then I noticed that one had this chunk missing; I remember from my test questions that cuts and bulges are bad. THEN my Dad mentioned that when he was moving the cars around this morning he noticed that my petrol gauge light was on, which I thought was crazy because when I parked it last night it was definitely on a quarter. So I've got the mystery of the missing petrol and this 'chunk situation'.
Dad made me even more worried say One. I had to get to the closest petrol station and Two. That the missing chunk was concerning him and I have to take the car to the garage asap. Not fun, especially as I am meant to be picking up my friend for college tomorrow.

Maybe if I name the car it will like me more.

Tuesday Freetime

So today we had a day off college and I have a lot of project work to do so I was meant to spend the day catching up with all things college. Instead, I decided to catch up watching One Tree Hill and paint my nails. Although for the past few days I've been wanting to do some fun nail art I couldn't stick to a design so I chose a deep red shade, perfect for Autumn. (And I noticed that a lot of celebs were wearing red shades).

I used Nail Paint by Barry M, shade 165 Burgundy and painted two coats (as always) but I also decided to put O.P.I Matte Nail Envy as a base coat, it strengthens the nail and makes it nice and even to paint the colour on to.
(Sorry about the messiness, I haven't cleaned them up yet)

Today I'm Wearing...

Well this is what I would be wearing if it was warm...

Vest top - New Look £9.99, Shorts - New Look aprox £25 (can't quite remember), Headband - Primark £2, 'Trouble' Bracelet - Jac Vanek $10 and other bracelets I made myself.

In my eyes this look is a nod to the festival look, the shorts are vintage looking highwaisted hotpants and the vest top is cropped. Both are bang on trend. If I was going out I would probably add more accessories such as big statement or stacked rings and more handmade bracelets. I have a brown leather bag that I would wear with this with brown moccasins, but most sandals or bags would match with this.

Short Shorts

Like most of the fashion blogger world I too am in love with giving vintage Levi jeans a new life as distressed shorts sometimes with added studs and/or decoration. I have designed some very cute designs but have yet purchased a pair of Levis to get customizing; but what sparked me to write a blog about this was something I would on eBay while searching for such shorts.
I am unsure if buying secondhand Levis is easy in the UK but I found a number of these super nice on eBay but for ridiculous prices, averaging £20. When I know that in America you can buy a pair in a thrift store for much cheaper.

After writing I have decided to dedicate my time to finding a well priced pair for me to customize.
