Review - BareMinerals Skincare

Excuse the image, I don't know why the font on the boxes is squished. Too big quality?
As I mentioned in a previous post I bought a whole lot of BareMinerals because I was looking for a skin care regime that an active ingredient (previously I used all Liz Earle, which I still love). In my haul blog post at the end I did mention that I would be doing a review in a months time but after speaking to my cousin (who works at the salon and trained etc.) she advised me that it would take at least 8 weeks to see any noticeable difference. I know right, 8 weeks. Maybe I should of said that the review would be in another month :S
Anyway to the review...

Purifying Facial Cleanser - I really enjoyed using this because when you are rubbing it around your face it gets creamy and feels like it's being really gentle to my skin. I mostly only use one pump but if I have the need for an even deeper clean I'll use two. Because of it's creamy lather I do feel like it is rebalancing my skin and afterwards my skin feels soft and hydrated. The only thing that annoys me about this product is that it says rinse off with warm water, I don't know if I'm the only one this happens to but when I have to lift water from the tap to my face it ends up going all my arms and splashing everywhere (maybe because I'm tall?). So, to solve this I now use a Liz Earle muslin cloth. I think I would repurchase this, but before I do I might give one of the other cleansers a go because they are more deep cleansing and have higher ratings on the bareMinerals website.

Purely Nourishing Moisturiser - Combination Skin - I think I will definately repurchase this, the main reason for this is that when I put it on it doesn't make my skin go red which my previous moisturiser did. It sank into the skin quickly, didn't leave a greasy residue and I feel that it moisturised my skin well.

Blemish Remedy - I'm not quite sure if this worked or not. It says that it conceals blemishes but I'm not sure it does, when I put it on it does kind of defuse the redness but not as much as I was expecting. I still got blemishes too so it didn't prevent them like I was hoping. I will carry on using it but I probably won't repurchase.

Pure Transformation Night Treatment - This is the product that I was most looking forward to trying. Firstly I would just like to say that I had it in the colour option clear which made me look a little ill when I put it on, I would prefer to light option. At first it did feel strange going to bed with powder on but it became part of my routine quite quickly because I was so hopeful I would see dramatic changes. I wouldn't say I am disappointed with the product because I think my skin was healing quicker and my pores were ever so slightly smaller but I didn't see the transformation I wanted. The results that I saw don't justify the price so I don't think I will repurchase :(
Maybe it would be a good idea if bareMinerals did a refill option which meant you keep your brush so the powder could be cheaper, seems pointless having to buy the brush each time.

Overall using these products did make my skin heal a little faster and my skin (where the blemishes aren't) does feel smooth but I was expecting dramatic results so I am still on the hunt for that skin changing product!

If you have any suggestions of products I should try feel free to comment below and if you have tried these products what did you think??

Business Adventure

The past few years I have been toying with the idea of starting to make things to sell. It all started about 6 years ago with me really wanting to go on Vans Warped tour in America and as I'm not in a band (and could never be) the only option I would ever have is by having a stall and selling merchandise. Anyway every summer holidays I would procrastinate and get nothing really started, mainly because 1. there is so much to do that I have no idea where to start and 2. to start properly you need money.

So, I have been trying to get a job for ages now and as I have no experience I get nowhere and at the age of 20 I find it so embarrassing that I have never had a real job. As I don't have the money or means to start a clothing business/label at the moment I thought that I should start smaller. Over the past year I have been slowly buying jewellery supplies (most of which have been wrong and a waste of money), finally I came up with a product that I am happy with.
I am now researching ways to get my product out there and sell it, so to start off I listed one on eBay, it has less than a day left (only listed it for 3) but has only had 1 view so it's a little disheartening. Anyway I will be looking into the likes of etsy.com and bigcartel.com and just wanted to know if anyone had any tips or advice for me??

Please leave any tips in the comments below, I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks
